Donation ‘such a boost’ for community first responders
“IT’S NOT a charity…it’s a life-saving thing.” The Clondalkin Community First Responders Unit is set to be given a substantial donation from a local business, reports James Roulston Mooney.
Community First Responders are volunteers trained to attend several kinds of emergency calls in the local area. SuperValu Rowlagh has donated €1,000 to the CFR unit, the largest donation they have received to date.
