Exciting proposal planned for Grand Canal 12th Lock
AN EXCITING proposal for the Grand Canal in the Grange Castle/ Clonburris/Adamstown area, could see the introduction of a wide range of facilities, including mixed-use enterprise hubs, a hostel, restaurants overlooking the water, retail shops, art studio, bike rental, multi-use event space, and even a potential kayaking club.
South Dublin County Council presented a briefing of it’s 12th Lock Masterplan to members for approval at a meeting on Monday, which they consider a site for huge economic potential and of “strategic importance”.
