Extra information needed about plans to convert retail centre

ADDITIONAL information has been sought by South Dublin County Council from WALK for plans to convert two retail units into a Day Service Centre.

Walkinstown Association for People with an Intellectual Disability Ltd (WALK) had lodged the plans for Coric House, Courthouse Square in Tallaght village for the centre.

The subject units are to the rear of the former BP O’Reilly offices, which are also in Coric House, and are fronting Courthouse Square and Tallaght District Court.

The plans lodged included the change of use of two existing ground-floor retail units to a Day Service Centre and for the new internal partitions to accommodate meeting rooms; open-plan learning spaces and toilet and staff facilities.

External works comprise replacement of the existing shopfront at ground-floor level, incorporating new windows, doors, fascia and signage.
