Five offer healing, wellness, massage and skin therapy
FIVE ladies operating their own businesses in the beauty and wellness industry, sat down for a coffee a number of months ago, to figure out if they can form an affiliated grouping to help combat a challenging economic environment.
Working under the same roof at a premises in Walkinstown, between them they provide an extensive range of services, with each person specialising in their respective treatments, with everything from skin therapy, to massage, to fillers.
The coffee meeting was successful, and they decided to host an open day last week in Walkinstown, to showcase what they offer to the wider community. A large crowd was in attendance on the night.
Located at 1A Beechfield Avenue, just off Cromwellsfort Road, beside Advance Tyre pitstop, and in the vicinity of A&D Motors and Borza, the building is a welcome retreat for clients.
There is a coffee shop on the first floor, and the beauty and wellness treatments are
located upstairs.
Lydia Marshall, owner of A-nú Earth Healings Holistic Therapies, said: “We don’t get a lot of foot traffic, so we sat down one day for a coffee and asked ‘what can we do’ – and decided to host an open day.”
Lydia, who is a Reiki master and massage therapist, said she wouldn’t be able to rent a room in a hairdressers “because it is too chaotic” for the calming work she does, but it is suitable at the Walkinstown building.
“We want to work together, and recommend our clients to each other. There is enough work out there for everyone,” said Lydia.
The other members working there include advanced skin therapist Catherine Roche (Inner Peace Aesthetic –innerpeaceaesthetic, reflexologist Deirdre Montague (Absolute Reflexology Clinic – 086 3407476), skin specialist Karolina Plata (Beauty
Shot Aesthetics – beautyshotaesthetics – 0851584304 ), and Sabrina McFall (Elite Sugar Studio -0872059055), a treatment for organic hair removal, and also callous peel pedicures, and biab nails.
