Gardai recover vehicle in Tallaght as part of operation Thor

Two men have been arrested by Gardaí during overnight operations targeting burglary and vehicle theft as part of Operation Thor.

At approximately 4.30am Gardaí from the Drugs Organised Crime Bureau with assistance from Gardaí attached to Finglas, Clondalkin and Carlow Garda Stations intercepted a 4×4 vehicle and a car on the Naas Road, Dublin.

The 4×4 was taken earlier during a burglary in Co. Carlow.

The drivers of the vehicles, both male and aged in their 30s, were arrested taken to Carlow Garda Station where they are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

During follow up searches at an apartment complex in Tallaght a third car was recovered.

The car was taken during the course of burglary in Tullow on the 3rd of August.
