Man rushed to hospital after shooting on Greenhills Road

GARDAI are investigating a shooting which happened at a premises on the Greenhills Road at around 11.35am today.

According to Garda reports, a man in his early forties received an apparent gunshot wound during the incident and is currently being treated in Tallaght Hospital.

Believed to have been a bystander, the injured man’s condition is unknown at present.

The Greenhills Road is currently open however, there is a large Garda presence and officers are on site directing traffic and checking cars.
