Over 500 judges came together at 65 judging days from March through to early July at Guild HQ in Dorset and at an office and venue in London.
The judges, from all corners of the food world, blind-taste in teams of three or four.
Judges decided Wyldsson’s Hazelnut and Cocoa Nut Butter was “an intensely flavoured deep chocolate flavour, not overly sweet and the hazelnuts add a delicious creamy nuttiness.”
They deemed the product a “luscious sauce with a great clean nutty hit that is balanced with the clean cocoa flavour and beautifully sweetened by dates.”
Employing four people at a unit in Tallaght Business Centre, Wyldsson export to a number of countries around the world.
Recently, the SME launched their range of gluten-free products in the USA via Amazon.
Earlier this year, they launched a vegan protein powder, receiving assistance from Enterprise Ireland and Teagasc to help develop it.
