Alison Spittle: Worrier Princess - Tallaght
Ahead of the premier of her RTÉ 2 comedy series, Nowhere Fast, the hilarious Alison Spittle will be on stage at the Civic Theatre on Saturday night.
The Mullingar native is one of Ireland’s fastest rising comedians. Tickets to her November 11 show in the Civic Theatre in Tallaght are still available and cost €11.
“Selfies and Portraits”: Readings from the Library After Dark Writers Café.
Local writers’ group, Library After Dark will be reading original pieces from their anthology, Selfies and Portraits, along with some new work.
The reading takes place on Saturday, November 11 from 2pm to 4pm at the Lucan Library.
Handmade Christmas Fair – Rathfarnham
Ballinteer St John’s GAA on the Grange Road in Rathfarnham will be hosting a Christmas fair in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland on Sunday.
The Christmas fair will sell handmade gifts made by local artists and crafters.
Admission is €2 for adults and the organisers promise great raffle prizes.
