
Lego-heads unite: Tallaght Library to host Lego building competition

Do you fancy yourself as a Lego master? Then you should head down to the County Library in Tallaght and show off your architectural and building skills next Monday.
Lego-mad kids are being asked to use their imagination and build an original piece based on the theme, “My favourite place in the world”.
Simply take your build and entry form to Tallaght library on Monday 24th July between 11.30am-1.30pm.
Entry forms are available from Tallaght Library or you can email the library talib@sdublincoco.ie. The competition is open to persons aged 4 – 18 years.
You can enter the competition by yourself or in a team. According to the competition guidelines, your creation must fit within a space of 15 by 15 inches and be no taller than two feet, so get your measuring ruler out.
There will be prizes across six separate categories; six years and younger, seven-nine year olds, 10-13 year olds, 14-18 year olds, adult and crowd favourite.

Entrants will be judged on their building skills, creativity and originality, interpretation of the theme and presentation.
