MÉNIÈRES disease could perhaps best be described as the most debilitating and unpleasant affliction you’ve never heard of, reports Ken Doyle.
The disease is named after the French physician Prosper Ménière, who in 1861 wrote a paper describing the myriad of symptoms involved could be linked to one single diagnosis and course of treatment.
