Yet another jewel in Clondalkin is the public garden at the Round Tower. Free access to it is through the café of the adjoining Brú Chrónáin/Round Tower Visitors’ Centre. Many medieval medicinal plants are growing there, the materia medica of the day. The garden is well worth a visit, although only a few of its plants can be included here.

However, be warned – do not use any part(s) of the following plants to heal or cure any ailment, illness, disease or discomfort whatsoever.
