
Man (36) dies in Clondalkin after being shot up to five times
Gardai in Ronanstown are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot dead in Clondalkin last night.
The 36-year-old man was shot up to five times.
Reports this morning suggest he was well-known to Gardai and was on bail for gun offences.

The attack took place on Wheatfield Avenue before 10pm, when the victim was approached and shot up to five times.
Paramedics remained at the scene for some time tending to the man, but he died a short time later.
In a statement released by Gardai, a spokesperson said: “Gardai and emergency services are at the scene of a shooting incident at Wheatfield Avenue, Clondalkin in Dublin.
“The incident was reported to Gardai at 9.40pm on Monday night.
“A man in his 30s was seriously injured in the shooting incident.
“The area is currently sealed off and a forensic examination of the area will take place.”
