Man gets bail after public order arrest at hospital
A MAN arrested at Tallaght Hospital Emergency Department (ED) for a public order disturbance, was released on bail.
Filippo Sangermano (58), with an address of The Watergate House, Usher Quay, Dublin 7, appeared before Tallaght District Court charged with section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994 as amended by Section 22 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act, 2008, for an incident on the morning of September 9.
Gardai were called to the ED at Tallaght Hospital and Mr Sangermano was conveyed to Tallaght Garda Station, appearing in court later that day.
Gardai had no objection to bail, the court heard, but requested a condition that Mr Sangermano stay away from Tallaght Hospital.
Defence counsel had concerns that Mr Sangermano might need access to Tallaght Hospital should something require him to access ED.
Bail was agreed on condition that Mr Sangermano not attend Tallaght ED unless it is for further tests required by a doctor.
