Many allotments abandoned and weeds allowed to grow wild

NEARLY half of the allotments in Friarstown are not being used, a councillor reported at the last SDCC meeting.

Rathfarnham/Templeogue councillor David McManus (FG) raised the issue with the council management as residents are struggling to be assigned allotments across the county.
