Nutgrove Fire Station holding annual charity open day

NUTGROVE Fire Station is holding its annual charity open day this Saturday, April 29, and the entire community is invited to drop by, meet their local fire crew and have some family fun in aid of Snowflakes children’s autism charity.

Running from 1pm to 4pm, the open day will have face painters, a DJ, tea, coffees and cakes alongside safety information, demonstrations and most importantly, access to fire trucks.

Nutgrove Fire Station open day 2016

This year the crew at Nutgrove are staging their open day for Snowflakes children’s autism charity, which organises social events for children diagnosed with autism and their families.

People are being asked to park a short distance away from the station or if within walking distance to stroll down, as parking was very busy last year.
