Permission sought for apprenticeship training area
PERMISSION is being sought for a telecommunications field technician apprenticeship training area in the grounds of the Tallaght campus of Technological University Dublin.

The area is to contain a compound, 35m by 25m, enclosed by a 3m perimeter fence.
The area will contain a number of street cabinets, underground access chambers, underground ducting, half-height training poles and a storage unit.
The plans were lodged by the university this month, and a decision is due from South Dublin County Council by October 1.
