Plans lodged for 52 apartment dwellings

CIRCLE Voluntary Housing Association has lodged plans for an older persons residential scheme in St Michael’s Estate in Inchicore.

Circle is seeking permission for 52 units at a location known as Site 1b at St Michael’s Estate – bounded by Richmond Barracks to the north.

Landscaping will include resident courtyards and an open space

The development will consist of 52 apartment dwellings with balconies – comprising 16 two-bedroom apartments, 36 one-and-a-half bedroom apartments, and communal facilities at ground-floor level.

Landscaping works are set to include resident courtyards and a landscaped open space incorporating a new vehicle setdown area.

The scheme will include 15 car-parking spaces and 52 bicycle-parking spaces.

The building will be one to four storeys in height.

Dublin City Council have yet to make a decision on the planning application.
