Plans to use Crooksling for international protection
PLANS are in place by the Irish State to use Crooksling as an accommodation site for international protection (IP) applicants.
The former nursing home closed in 2020 but has seen migrant men residing at the site for nearly a year. In March, a migrant camp in Mount Street was cleared ahead of St Patricks Day, and men were moved to Crooksling and Citywest.
