A full list of all of the bodies endorsing the recovery plan are available on a refreshed website this week.

Three parts to the campaign strategy includes political engagement at national level, a representative body engagement and a local campaign.

According to Kevin Kelly, TaxAssists Accountants, the group have had strong political interest and engagement.

“We now have all of the main representative bodies who represent small business behind the plan and are continuing to add more every week,” he said.

“The immediate focus of the campaign is to get the plan included in the programme for government. Once it is included, we will also need to push to have it implemented. The next two weeks are key to ensure that it is in the programme for government.”

The group want leaders to mobilise locally, build a local campaign team and drive the campaign, via political support, “in particular on FF/FG and Green TD’s who will make up the next government”.

They also want local chambers and SME’s to endorse the plan and sign a petition.
