Serious road traffic collisions in Tallaght and Lucan leading to long delays

There are long delays in both Tallaght and Lucan this evening after two serious road traffic accidents.

In Tallaght, at least one person has been taken to hospital after a crash involving at least two vehicles near the Cuckoo’s Nest on the Greenhills Road.

Emergency services are currently on the scene, but drivers are advised to take an alternative route.

Meanwhile, in Lucan Dublin Fire Brigade units from Blanchardstown and Phibsboro have dealt with the collision on the Lower Lucan Road, near Chadwicks.

Emergency services have finished at the scene, but vehicle recovery is ongoing and traffic is very heavy in the area.
