‘Significant safeguarding concerns’ at Cheeverstown
Health inspectors have raised “significant safeguarding concerns” about the safety of residents following an unannounced inspection of a disability centre in South Dublin.
The inspection of the Dublin 6W centre, run by Cheeverstown House, was carried out by inspectors from the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) following reports of “unexplained bruising” and two incidents of serious injury to residents.
