Soccer and Gaelic players turn out in memory of teammate

PLAYERS from Newtown Rangers Football Club and Thomas Davis GAA Club competed in a soccer match over the weekend in memory of a teammate who died this year.

The match was held in tribute to Neil Davoren, an Old Bawn native who died in January at the age of 37 and was a popular and talented player for both sports clubs.
