Summer holidays in 1993: Making perfume, skipping, knick-knacks and more…

If your kids have ever asked you how you spent your summer holidays when you were young you should tell them to check out Emma Doran’s latest video.

Local comedian Emma is joined by Julie Jay, and they capture some of the best moments from the summer holidays in the 90s.

From playing chasing and kick-the-can, to skipping and doing knick-knacks on your neighbours, there’s not much they’ve missed out on.

And remember the buttercups? What were we thinking! Did everyone not like butter?

But our favourite has to be the flower perfume – which was basically flower petals and water in an old jam jar that we forced our parents to wear at least once, even if they did break out in a rash afterwards.

Many thanks to Emma for sending the hilarious video our way – check out more of her hilarious work HERE.
