
Talented Cian signs for Wexford
TALENTED striker Cian Curtis has signed for Airtricity First Division outfit Wexford FC.
Curtis signed from Shamrock Rovers in 2015 when he was U11 and played on the Hoops U19 league and cup double side this year.
He was also named the EA Sports and MU19 LOI Academy Player of the Year. In a statement released by Shamrock Rovers confirming the move, it said “Shamrock Rovers wish to announce that Cian Curtis has signed for Wexford FC.
“Cian joined the club in 2015 when he played for the Under 11s.
From Kilnamanagh, he played up front and had a steady record of scoring goals throughout his time with the SRFC Academy.
“During his time with the Hoops Cian won league and cup honours and was a key player on the Under 19 team that won the double this year.
In November he was named as the EA Sports MU19 LOI Academy Player of the Year.
“We wish Cian all the very best for the future and thank him for his efforts with the Academy over the past nine years.
