Tea, cake and a chat about your fitness and nutrition

THE NEXT meeting of the free, community-based Dementia Café will be held in Citywest on Tuesday, January 15.
Run by the TLC Nursing Home in Citywest, the monthly café, which started in January 2018, provides a social outlet for residents of South Dublin County and their families – alongside providing people with information and support in a safe, relaxed and friendly environment.

Each café has a 30-minute presentation on a related topic, such as medication, fitness, legal issues or nutrition, after which there is a short Q&A followed by tea, cake and a chat.
The guest speaker at this month’s café is Joshi Dooky, a Memory Advanced Nurse Practitioner from Tallaght University Hospital.
Those interested are invited to drop by the café at 6.30pm for a cup of tea and a chat, with presentation and time for questions starting at 7pm.
TLC Citywest is based on Cooldown Commons, Fortunestown Lane.
