Hit the track for Tallaght Cancer Support Group

THE fifth annual Tallaght Mile will hit the track this Saturday, January 12 – with the whole community invited to take part in the family friendly event.
Starting at 12.30pm, the Tallaght Mile is a charity event organised by Tallaght Cancer Support Group and supported by Tallaght Athletic Club.

There is no entry fee, but people are invited to make a donation on the day, with light refreshments being served in the clubhouse after.
People are invited to run, jog or walk the track four times, which is equivalent to a mile, with buggies also welcome.
Established in 2007, the Tallaght Cancer Support Group provides support for all cancer patients, their families and friends from its base in Trustus House on Main Street, Tallaght.
Tallaght Cancer Support Group wished to thank Tallaght Athletic Club for providing the facility and for its support on the day, and to the Allen family and SuperValu Ballinteer for sponsoring the event.
The Tallaght Athletic Club track is located on the Greenhills Road beside West Park Gym.
There is no need to pre-register, simply turn-up before 12.30pm this Saturday, January 12.
