Tensions rise at meeting about cycle-track bollards

RESIDENTS were “up in arms” at a public meeting that was held in Old Bawn last week to address rising tensions about the installation of bollards for a cycle track on Firhouse Road West.

The narrowing of the road to facilitate the segregated cycle track was carried out as part of the D24 Neighbourhood Cycle Network project, which continues up to Killinarden Way.
