TRAFFIC: Avoid Tallaght village if you only have an hour for your lunch!

Traffic is extremely heavy in Tallaght village this lunchtime due to roadworks taking place at the main intersection outside Bank of Ireland.

Traffic lights are out of action at the intersection, which feeds traffic from the Greenhills Road, Tallaght bypass, and Main Road, with flag men operating a stop-go system.

It is not known when the works will be completed, and traffic has been extremely heavy in the area since this morning.

If you only have an hour for your lunch, best to stay clear!
