Traffic delays on Naas Road due to truck on fire at Citywest

There are long delays on the Naas Road outbound after Junction Three (Citywest) this morning due to a truck on fire.

Units from Dublin Fire Brigade have been at the scene of the fire for some time.

DUBLIN Gardai advising road is unsafe for motorcyclists to use as quite slippery so advising to exit at J3 & rejoin at J2 Kingswood theAA.ie

A warning has also been issued to drivers, especially motorcyclists, with slippery conditions due to heavy water usage making the road surface treacherous.

All lanes were closed for a time, but lanes two and three have now reopened.
