
Water supply disruptions in Lucan, Clondalkin, Cherry Orchard and Palmerstown

Water supply disruptions in some estates across Lucan, Palmerstown, Cherry Orchard and Clondalkin are expected until early afternoon due to repairs being carried out, according to South Dublin County Council.
Councillor Mark Ward told The Echo that he has been getting reports of no water across North Clondalkin this morning, with Irish Water confirming that areas including Neilstown, Rowlagh, Bawnogue are among those affected by valve repair works.
Water supply disruptions are expected until early afternoon
The repairs are being carried out at Fonthill Road and Nangor Road by South Dublin County Council's Water Operations Section today (Monday).
Due to the nature of the repairs, customers in the LUCAN, PALMERSTOWN, NEILSTOWN, ROWLAGH areas can expect supply disruptions until early afternoon

Irish Water released a statement saying: “Valve repair works may cause supply disruptions to Lucan, Palmerstown, Clondalkin, Neilstown, Rowlagh, Bawnogue, Cherry Orchard and surrounding areas in Co. Dublin.”

The work is expected to be finished by 2pm today, according to Irish Water.
Councillor Mark Ward (Sinn Fein) contacted Irish Water earlier this morning with the company confirming the disruption to service and also that a traffic management plan is in place for the duration of the works.
