What has the final episode of ‘This is Jobstown’ got in store for us tonight?

We say goodbye to ‘This is Jobstown’ tonight as the final part in the four-part series airs on TV3 at 9pm.

The four part fly-on-the-wall series spends a year with some of the families living in Jobstown, Tallaght, and sees what life is really like in this sprawling council estate.

In the final episode, 17-year-old Linda is coming to terms with her big news, she has just found out that she’s fifteen weeks pregnant. This means she will have to put her boxing ambitions on hold for two years.

Although she’s stunned by the pregnancy news, she’s also really looking forward to it. She attends a scan with her boyfriend Mark to find out if they are expecting a boy or a girl.

The only cloud on the horizon for Linda is concern around her mum’s health, as she was rushed by ambulance to hospital, after suffering a bad turn.  

Also in this episode, Dawn and Darcy are getting into the spirit of Christmas and are very excited to be spending their first Christmas together in their new home.

Amanda is in positive spirits, as she puts up official signage for her boxing club. This is a huge milestone and a symbol of all the hard work she has put into the club since it first opened its doors.
