Who remembers growing up in Tallaght in the 80s?

After the huge success of our ‘Do you remember going out in Tallaght in 90s?’ posts online recently, we’re continuing our look back through the Echo archives.

This time it’s all about the 80s, and we’ve taken on the biggest collection of picture pages and images to date, with thousands of locals from Tallaght featured.

In this first instalment you’ll find pictures from sports days in Kilnamanagh, Old Bawn, St Aengus, Killinarden and more.

Local community days also feature from right across the area, as do the Community Games, while we even managed to sneak in some Debs pictures from Old Bawn and Tallaght Community Schools.
