1,000 street lights not working across county

UP TO 1,000 street lights are currently out across the county – a situation which is “getting out of hand” and a cause of significant concern for South Dublin County Council, according to chief executive Colm Ward.

Last week, The Echo reported 800 street lights that were out in the county, amid concerns by local representatives at the Tallaght area meeting.
