18-metre high warehouse approved for Citywest Business Park site
THE construction of an 18-metre-high warehouse in Citywest Business Park has been given the green light by South Dublin County Council.
Rockface Development submitted the details for the project in a planning application last June, with the council granting permission for it on December 12 last.
The development will comprise the provision of a warehouse with ancillary office and staff facilities and associated development.
The warehouse will have a maximum height of 18 metres with a gross floor area of 11,691 sq.m including a warehouse area, ancillary staff facilities and an ancillary office area.
The development will also include a vehicular and pedestrian entrance to the site from Kingswood Road to the north-east and a separate HGV entrance from Kingswood Avenue to the south-east.
Provision of 64 ancillary car parking spaces, bicycle parking, HGV parking and yard, level access goods doors, dock levellers, access gates, hard and soft landscaping, and a canopy is included.
The development is to take place on the 2.56-hectare site at Kingswood Road and Kingswood Avenue in Citywest Business Campus.
The council granted permission for the development last month.
