18-year-old charged over petrol bomb attack on St John’s House

An 18-year-old man charged over a petrol bomb attack at a building in Tallaght, Dublin, which was earmarked for asylum seekers, has been refused bail, reports Tom Tuite.

A hearing was told that the sole occupant of the building was a female security guard on duty who fled through a back exit when petrol bombs were hurled through a broken window a few metres from her desk.
