€420,000 worth of Cocaine seized during searches in Clondalkin, Cabra and Blanchardstown.

As part of intelligence led joint operation involving the Garda Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau supported by the Special Crime Task Force a number of vehicles were intercepted in the Blanchardstown area shortly after 9pm last night.

As a result of this operation four kilos of Cocaine was seized. Two men (36yrs & 34yrs) were arrested.

In follow up searches in the Cabra and Clondalkin areas a further two kilos of Cocaine was seized. The estimated street value is approximately €420,000.

Both men are currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
