Targeted 51% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050
TACKLING emissions and improving energy efficiency is still the focus of South Dublin County Council’s Climate Action Plan, which is currently under review.
On the existing Climate Action Plan (CAP), which was adopted by the council in 2019, national and the local authority targets a 51 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030, with the goal of being net zero by 2050.
