Hutch appeared in custody before Judge David McHugh.

Garda Patrick Fallon told Judge McHugh that he arrested Hutch in Clondalkin on February 21 last for simple possession and possession for sale or supply of drugs.

He said Hutch was later charged with two offences by Sergeant Maeve Ronan in Ronanstown Garda Station.

Garda Fallon said he had no objection to bail but was asking for a number of conditions including a signing on condition at his local garda station, a curfew and an order that Hutch stay away from Cloverhill and Wheatfield Prisons. He also asked that the remand date not be made public. Hutch, aged 42, with an address at Virginia Drive, Finglas, is charged with simple possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at Ronanstown Garda Station on February 21, 2018.

On Second calling, Garda Fallon said he was not seeking the signing on condition.

He asked for a lengthy remand.

Judge McHugh released Hutch on his own bail to a date unknown and on condition that he observe a curfew at his home from 11pm to 7am and that he stay away from Cloverhill and Wheatfield Prisons.
