Additional information submitted on Roadstone extension plans
ADDITIONAL information on surface water for the proposed extension and alteration of a sports centre building has been submitted to South Dublin County Council.
Plans for the extension and alterations to Roadstone Group Sports Club were submitted last February by the sports club.
The proposed development at Kingswood Cross contains plans for the construction of a new single-storey flat roof extension measuring 303 sq. m to the rear and side of the existing sports club.
There are plans for the extension to accommodate four changing rooms, a physio room, a gym, a referee's room, a coaching room and a TV lounge.
There are also plans for a store room and all other associated facilities.
South Dublin County Council requested additional information on the proposed development in April, and received clarification on additional information from the applicant last month.
The water services section and Irish Water had concerns about the location of the subject site in relation to two flood zones.
Subsequently, the applicant submitted additional information addressing these concerns.
A decision on the planning application has yet to be made by SDCC.
