Adeleke sparkles in Indoors

RHASIDAT Adeleke again starred for Tallaght Athletic Club, this time on Day Two of the Juvenile Indoor Championships in Athlone.

The 15-year-old sped to a Championship Best Performance of 7.43 seconds in the Under 17 Girls’ 60m- a display that also places her 12th on the Irish all-time list.

The club picked up more medals at this event with Eoghan Keaney winning out in the Under 19 1500m and Christopher Duffy taking silver in the Under 19 400m.

And there were strong displays too by Tallaght’s Jennifer McAdams in the Under 17 1500m and Lauren McDermott in the Under 17 60m.
