Age Action and Backyard Blitz take on park clean-up

A clean-up day at Raheen Park during Age Action week was held by the Lower Cherry Orchard Community Association recently in conjunction with Age Action and Bank of Ireland staff who call themselves the Backyard Blitz.

The community association focuses on keeping their neighbour-hoods clean, but Raheen Park is too big for the group of just a few people to do by themselves.

Dublin City Council recommended the association contact Age Action, who were more than willing to come out and help clean up the area.
