Man allegedly threatened partner with hammer
A MAN who allegedly threatened his partner with a hammer had his case remanded by Tallaght Court.
Judge Alan Mitchell accepted jurisdiction in Mark McCrohan's case.
McCrohan, aged 26, with an address at Swiftbrook Drive, Tallaght, is charged with possession of a hammer at Swiftbrook Drive on July 25, 2017.
Presenting Sergeant Michael Ahern told Judge Mitchell that the DPP had directed summary disposal.
He said it will be alleged that the Gardai were called to Swiftbrook Drive after McCrohan had threatened his partner with a hammer.
Sgt. Ahern stressed that it was an alleged threat.
McCrohan’s solicitor, Jeremiah Breen, asked Judge Mitchell to accept jurisdiction.
Accepting jurisdiction, Judge Mitchell remanded McCrohan on continuing bail to a date in February for a plea or a date for hearing.
