Amanda helps hundreds of people overcome self-doubt

A MARKETING and mindset mentor from Tallaght learned the value of hard work after leaving school at 15, to running her own businesses and helping others to succeed.

Amanda Delaney was a young single mother, struggling with addiction, low confidence and very little belief in herself. She left school at 15 with her Inter Cert and spent many years simply trying to survive and do her best.

Amanda believes her turning point came through “learning and doing.”

“I went back to education, qualifying in fitness and swimming, and spent years teaching in Tallaght Sports Complex. I later trained as a beauty specialist, working in St Dominic’s Shopping Centre before opening my own beauty business and training school,” said Amanda.

Along the way, Amanda learned marketing, sales, public speaking and how to build a business from the ground up.

As she became more involved in networking, Amanda noticed many local business owners felt uncomfortable in traditional, formal settings.

“People wanted a relaxed space where they could share their story, build confidence and feel supported,” said Amanda, who created business networking events in The Edge, Tallaght.

The venture supports coaches, therapists, wellness practitioners, creatives and service-based business owners through Amanda’s academy and coaching programmes.

Through mindset and business coaching, she has helped hundreds of people overcome self-doubt, challenge limiting beliefs and learn how to confidently talk about and grow their businesses.

“My story is one of resilience, growth and starting again, proof that confidence is built, not born.”

On April 8, Amanda is delighted to welcome Vicki O’Reilly to the ‘We Can & We Will Talk’ networking event at The Edge, Tallaght, from 6.30pm to 9pm.
