Amazon begins work on former Shinko site

ONLINE giant Amazon is continuing with its development throughout Tallaght as construction has begun on the site of the former Shinko Building just off the Greenhills Road, which was recently demolished by the internet shopping powerhouse.
Construction on the site began in recent weeks as work began to wrap up on another Amazon development located on a site only a few hundred metres away, which was formerly used as a Tesco warehouse.
The former Shinko building was demolished in recent months following a planning application for the demolition which was approved in February 2014 by South Dublin County Council.
