Another marathon victory for English
KEVIN English from Kilnamanagh made it three marathon wins in four weeks after he came home first in the Toroughbread Kildare event last Sunday.
This victory came after he set a new course record on his way to the ‘Lap of the Gap’ title and won the Rock and Road Marathon in Kinvara (Galway) also in a course record of 2.46.12.
Kevin English carded another victory
Delighted with his latest win, English said: “I went out steady at the start and was 40 seconds up at halfway.
“The lead car took me the wrong way so I lost about a minute, but İ finished just over 10 minutes clear.”
