Anti-social behaviour is dealt with by Gardai
SOUTH Dublin County Council restated the role of the Gardaí in pursuing anti-social incidents which fall under the criminal classification.
In response to Palmerstown-Fonthill councillor Niamh Fennell (SF), who asked to what extent the council intervene when antisocial incidents are reported, SDCC said anti-social behaviour is defined by the Housing Act 2014 and is therefore related to local authority tenants.
