Paramedics attended the scene but Noel passed away.

Mark Lacey, a friend of Noel’s, has made a public appeal to recover his missing wallet.

“It’s a black leather wallet with a picture of him (Noel) and his young son Sam which he always has on him.

“The Park West night run was on this night and a lot of people where around. Gardai or the other guys that worked on Noel have not got it.

“I’m asking any runners or anybody did they pick it up and hand it in to a shop or business. The family are looking for Noel’s wallet.”

Mark, the owner of Insanity Fit Zone in Palmerstown, appealed for anyone who comes across the wallet, to contact gardai, him or local businesses in the Park West area.

A funeral service for Mr Keenan will take place on Saturday in St Bernadette’s Church in Crumlin.

A message on RIP.ie said Noel was a “beloved husband of Caroline, loving father of Emily and Sam, and sadly missed by his family, relatives and friends.”
