Ardstone Homes seek go-ahead for 75 units on Stocking Avenue
PLANNING permission is being sought for the construction of 75 residential units at White Pines on Stocking Avenue in Rathfarnham.
Developer Ardstone Homes Limited’s plans include the construction of residential units in a mix of apartments, terraced housing and duplex apartment units.
The proposal includes an apartment building, varying in height between three and four storeys and comprising 29 units: 18 one-bed units and 11 two-bed units.
A three-storey duplex apartment building comprising eight units (four two-bed, single-storey apartments and four three-bed, two-storey duplex units) is included.
A total of 38 terraced houses forms part of the development, comprising a mix of 24 two-storey, two-bed units and 14 two-storey, three-bed units.
The development will also provide 85 car-parking spaces, including 17 EV spaces and four accessible spaces, and 84 cycle parking spaces.
The main vehicular access to the scheme will be from Stocking Avenue, via White Pines Dale with three access points along the southern boundary of the site.
An additional emergency vehicular access point will also be provided from Stocking Avenue to the northeast of the site, facilitating access for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
There will be three additional pedestrian/cyclist access points from Stocking Avenue and one pedestrian/cyclist access point from White Pines Park on the western boundary of the site.
A decision on the application is due from South Dublin County Council by December 7.
