Awards celebrate and showcase local business

The South Dublin County Business Awards 2018 was launched in the South Dublin County Council offices recently.
These awards celebrate, showcase and acknowledging all that is good in business in South Dublin County.
Due to the phenomenal success of last year’s SDC Business Awards the organisers have announced two more award categories for 2018. They are the Best Networker Award and Sports & Leisure Award
Margaret Considine, President, South Dublin Chamber said: “We are very proud of the business community in our county and I would strongly encourage any business to come forward and showcase your success, we have a category for every business.”
Applications are open to any business or not-for-profit organisations based in or doing business in South Dublin County, application forms are available to download on www.sdchamber.ie or from mary [at] sdchamber [dot] ie
Award categories include:
Business Person of the Year Award; Best Networker Award; Best Not-For-Profit Organisation; Best Place to Eat Award; Best Sales/Marketing Campaign Award; Best Small Business; Best Start-up/New Business; Corporate Social Responsibility Award; Customer Service – Retail Award; Customer Service – Tourism & Hospitality Award; Environmentally Friendly Business Award; Innovation in Business Awards; International Trade Award and Sports & Leisure Award.
All criteria for the awards, the judging of the awards and the mystery shopping evaluations will be done by Spotcheck, the recognised independent awards agency.
The black tie awards presentation evening will be held on Friday, October 19 in Citywest Hotel.
