Be Sound to your Ceann supports awareness of mental health service
BE SOUND to your Ceann is the message of a local campaign that aims to raise awareness of and funds for youth mental health support service, Jigsaw.
The Square has teamed up with Jigsaw and Tallaght street artist Emmalene Blake for the campaign, which launched at the local shopping centre on Sunday, October 10, to mark World Mental Health Day.
⠀The campaign, which features a newly installed mural by Emmalene at the local shopping centre, will see a number of initiatives being run at The Square this October to raise money for and awareness of Jigsaw. ⠀
All funds raised will help support a number of programs including Jigsaw Schools Hub, Live Chat and other eMental Health services.
⠀Fundraising Manager for Jigsaw, Justin McDermott said: “We are so genuinely delighted and thankful to The Square for supporting our vital services and supports for young people on this wonderful ‘Be Sound to your Ceann’ campaign.

“As we all know only too well, it has been an incredibly challenging past 18 months for us all, but no more so than for our young people.
“In supporting this the ‘Be Sound to your Ceann’ campaign, you will be ensuring we can continue to provide the mental health services our young people in Tallaght, and across Dublin south west, deserve.”⠀
Alongside a new mural on Level 3, opposite the cinema, is a colourful, flower-filled pop-up selfie station.
Be Sound to you Ceann t-shirts, designed by Emmalene are also on sale at the customer service desk.
All money raised will go to Jigsaw, with local shoppers also invited to text SOUND to 50300 to donate €2 to Jigsaw – and be in with the chance of winning a €250 Square gift card. ⠀
